Radio Controlled Traffic Lights for Track Safety Marshall solution

McKelvie Solutions have designed their own wireless radio traffic light system for Motocross or Go Kart Track Safety. This wireless safety solution allows track marshals to control traffic lights to mitigate the risk of an accident by slowing down or stopping riders.

Each Marshall has a wireless safety controller which allows them to turn on/off traffic lights set around the track. Each traffic safety light can be placed into a zone. Thus, a Marshall can be allocated a single or multiple zones to control traffic lights remotely using the wireless mesh technology built in to the controller and safety traffic light receiver.

Each safety track traffic light is wirelessly meshed together extending range from the Marshall controller. The wireless meshed network means there is wireless network redundancy if there is a wireless receiver failure.

Using the McKelvie Solutions wireless traffic light safety track solution reduces the risk of human error when using flags. Each Marshall with a good viewpoint can control more track reducing the amount of manpower to safely manage rider safety for motocross or go karting.

The wireless radio traffic system can be used as part of a risk assessment to help mitigate risk to rider safety. McKelvie Solutions MX1 track radio safety solution is being used at multiple motocross tracks in the UK.

MX1 System Mesh Radio Wireless Traffic Lights System for track safety

A true RF safety solution to control safety lights on any racing track. The MX1 safety wireless solution meshes together to create extended coverage and network resilience from redundant wireless links. Each MX1 controller allows Marshall's to control separate zones for any track incidents within their area of track control. A chief Marshall is able to disable other Marshall's handheld wireless controllers to take overall control.

Each wireless receiver is easily integrated into any existing safety track light solution. Using minimum power can be run with 12v battery and solar panel solutions..
